TEDx events are independently organized, locally rooted experiences created under license from TED. They bring people together to share ideas and spark conversation within a community.

TEDxBellingham Square is Chelsea, Massachusetts’ first citywide TEDx ideas stage for identifying, developing, and amplifying local ideas worth spreading.

Anyone with an idea worth spreading connected to Chelsea, Greater Boston, or a broader audience. Students, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, organizers, public servants, business owners, and residents are all welcome.

No. Speakers are never charged to participate in TEDxBellingham Square.

TEDx speakers are not paid, in accordance with TEDx rules. However, selected speakers receive professional coaching, storytelling development, and a world-class platform.

A review committee evaluates applications based on the strength, originality, and relevance of the idea, and the speaker’s connection to it.

Yes. Visit the Partners page to learn about sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

No. Sponsors do not select speakers, shape talks, or influence editorial content. TEDxBellingham Square maintains full editorial independence.

Ticket registration will open closer to the event. Sign up for event updates on the Attend page to be notified.

Donations are processed through our fiscal sponsor and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We collect only the information needed to respond to inquiries, manage applications, share requested updates, and organize the event. We do not sell personal information or share it with sponsors for marketing. Application materials remain private and are accessible only to authorized organizers and reviewers. You may request to update or delete your information by contacting us. Any optional communications require your consent, consistent with applicable privacy laws and TEDx guidance.
